2003 7.3L vs 2006 6.0L

My cousin is convinced that his 2003 7.3L will smoke my truck in a race. Both trucks have tuners but we would be racing on the factory tuning. So basically both trucks have TBE's and CAI's. Both are leveled sitting on the same size tire (35x12.50). So who would win?

On stock tuning your 6.0 . I love the 7.3 but there just not fast . You would actually probably beat him with custom tuning too . 7.3's need allot of mods to be fast at all .

Ive ran my fair share of 6leakers.

The kids with exhaust and cheap tunes arent hard to outrun (the kids that think there hot ****)

But, the guys that lay low, have the proper mods, and some sick nasty tunes..................will eat you for breakfast.

Your best bet would be getting him off the start and never looking back, depending on the tunes hes running, he may blow your doors off.

Both truck stock, hes got you beat unless he blows up.

You run a tune, let him run stock, and hes yours.

? not trying to tick you off Dasaliac but the 7.3's are slow and the 6.0 unfortunately will stomp us with ease done been there and done it. yes with the 7.3's running tunes and the 6.0 stock we might have a chance.

haha i know i know, i cant wait to make some serious power and stomp them all

but i have raced a handfull of 6.0s, one in particular (2004 6.0l ccsb 2" lift with 35's, 6" stack, and diablo predator tuner on 80hp tune) we go down the interstate behind each other quite frequently and he never can out run me.

Ran across a OBS 7.3 that straight WAXED my *** not too long ago........i dont want to talk about it

Tell your boy to junk that garbage predator tuner and get an sct with some custom tunes. Then line em up!

a friend of mine has a 01, when both our trucks where stock, just a strait pipe i would win no mater what from a dig or on the free way, the 6l always won, his was a sc, lb, 4x4, auto. mine being a sc, sb, 4x4, auto. now our other friend has a 01 also, only his is a reg cab 2x4 6 speed and a edge evo. my truck on a low tune, he would beat me. on my street tune, i would beat him.
