Well a buddy of mine had an '10 Infiniti G37 Coupe with an intake and full exhaust and Nitrous ( dont ask me why) and liked to talk alot of smack about how fast his car was.



At the time all I had on my truck was an Airaid intake and a Predator Diablo tuner (piece of junk) with the factory dpf/cat still on.
So we decided to race and see by how much he can beat me. We started from 0 and at the begining I was even with him but towards 3rd gear he started pulling on me and left me way behind. I thought his car was going to be much quicker though
Well as time went by i finally got around to getting the SCT tuner and deleting my dpf/cat and wanted to race him again using the extreme canned tune that came with SCT. So we did and it was a diff outcome, we stayed even throughout most of the race until I hit 50 and he started pulling on me but not by much. Much better this time ( Again he didnt use the nitrous, if he did i wouldve been left far behind from the start haha)
Now i finally got my Extreme Street tune from Innovative Diesel and would love to race him again, I think I can take him this time, but theres one problem, He has no car to race me with cuz he blew his engine using the nitrous too much . I hate to say it but I told him so!

Anyways my friends gf has a 2008 Chrysler Crossfire SRT8 and we are gonna race soon, any ideas on what the outcome might be?

Personally, I think it is going to be a tough race without a hard boosted 4x4 launch. Those SRT-6 crossfires stock do 0-60 in 5.2sec and with some mods are just under 5 seconds, IE 4.8 was the figure that I saw. That is a fast street car, and getting an 8000lb truck to move that fast will defintely take more mods than you have. IMHO, you will lose unless he spins like crazy and its a short race.

Yea I think I will lose too but itll be cool to see how much my big *** truck can keep up with that tiny car. Itll be fun regardless, i wouldnt be doin it if i was betting on it haha

Do you have the extreme race also? I think you might win with the extreme street if you do a 4x4 boosted launch.

I doubt it would make that much of a difference. Unless the SRT spins like a mofo and the race is from a dig with a perfect 4x4 launch, its extremely doubtful he would win, especially after 60mph or so. That SRT with any skilled driver is going to pull near a sub 5sec 0-60 and I don't see an 8K truck doing that without a lot of work.

My 6.0 with an Xtreme Street tune pulled a 5 second flat 0-60.

A 6.4 with an Xtreme Race tune is pushing close to 200HP more than mine, he should have no problem spanking him. The Xtreme Race will make a difference too.

I know im not gonna win, I just found out that what I got was the extreme mild tune
(240rwhp over stock instead of 280rwhp) cuz I didnt get the 4 tunes I just got an emailed tune, anyways my truck is 2 wheel drive so no boosted launch for me haha. If i win itll be some miracle and a crappy driver. I wasnt expecting to win i was j doin it for fun.
