sct tuned 6.0 vs 05-08 rustang gt?

always wondered what the outcome would be. anyone ever race one?

I let my younger son borrow my truck and the first thing he did was go race his older brother in his 09 (stock 5 speed GT with 3:31 axle)... my older son was not real happy afterwards...

Me and a new friend from a car show messed around for a little bit. I was running Spartan's Hybrid Race at the time () and he was driving an '06 GT with a few mods (intake, exhaust, SCT tune). We both gave it some throttle merging onto the interstate. But I spotted a trooper car on the hill ahead, so nothing truly happened. But I was hanging in with him easily.

I got a 2010 gt with the track pack and an 08 F250 with innovates extreme street tune and I think the stang would take the truck. It'd be close though!

Is it a manual? Stick shift cars feel faster when you're driving them, but only a race can prove it. Or you could take 'em both to the track. I'm pretty sure the 250 with an Xtreme Race tune and a boosted launch would win.

Yep it's a stick. We've stop lighted it a couple times and it's close but I'd give the edge to the stang. My buddies got an 08 GT with headers, tuner and bunch of stuff done and he's chompin at the bit to get at my truck. If we ever throw it down I'll let you all know how it turns out.

i went against a newer gt from a rolling start and beat him bad . but he might have let off cause of the smoke . i blew out my up pipe on the run though

190cc injectors,air dog150, stage II fuel supply, custom turbo , SCT X3 tuned by eric at innovative , afe cold air intake ,zoodad, arp studs, snow meth.injection, 5in straight pipes to 8in stacks, innovative uppipe, triple pod with glow shift, remote oil cooler and filters, sinister egr delete , all by myself with cab on , never do it again!!!! and alot of good info from org
