:( Killed by a CTS

My Buddy and I lined up for a rolling race down I-95 tonight. Started even at about 40mph...I got the jump and had him through 3rd and 4th but then he destroyed me. He has an '05 Cadillac CTS with the corvette engine - 6spd. I guess I'm no match for that weight difference. Now I know what to ask Innovative Diesel for this Christmas......enough horsepower to be a Cadillac CTS with a vette engine.

That car runs a 13.1 second quarter mile. How many HP's do I need to get under 13 seconds? I'm guessing 650-700?

SickStroke...I like your signature...that's what I have to tell the stealership tomorrow. I'm loosing coolant bad and lots of pressure build up in the degas. I have ARP Studs and Onyx gaskets. While they are in there I am going to add EGR delete pipe. What else could I add that wouldn't cost a fortune or would make sense while its apart. My warranty runs out in a month so I'm not worried of voiding the warranty.

ELC Coolant, 6.4 Banjos, Updated Ford Fuel Pressure Regulator, and the Updated STC fitting.

If you want more power let me know, and I can list out the expensive parts.

You have to remember that vette engine is a top end motor and that is why he started pulling away like that after 4th.

Correct me if I am wrong but it should be a CTS-V if it has the vette motor in it.
