I killed a mustang till about 4th

I killed a mustang till about 4th. It was a V8 cobra with pipes. I feel good about myself because I didn't even boost launch and I still worked him till about 4th. Well thats about it.

And I also did a burnout in front of the Ford Fleet Center while the service writer was behind me.

If the Mustang was a 2001 or earlier Cobra, those were dogs anyway. IF it was a 2003-4 Cobra, the guy couldn't drive it.

I love it.

I have taken several stangs with my truck. I usually tell them "wow, what would have happend if my truck was fast?". Anyway, I love racing ricers and other so called sports cars. If they beat me who cares cuz thats the way it should be. If I beat them it is about as big of a rush as you can get.

I don't know about that... what do the 03/04 cobra's run int the 1/8th mile? Most of your chipped 6.0's at the track are killing mustangs until beyond 70mph.

The 03-04 Cobras should be in the mid to high 8s if they can get traction, the IRS isn't good for drag racing. My Roush has run 8.80s when it was hot and with no traction.(These cars aren't good for the 1/8th either, no weight transfer but they'll corner hard enough to make your nose bleed.)

i've seen them running some nice 1/8th times. Low 7s in some cases, with very basic mods. 03-04 cobra ftw i want one in my driveway!

I will say this- I saw one running 11s and it's 60' was .2 slower than my diesel
