got me an 05 duramax

well last night me and my buddy with a duramax were out driving around and weve always had our ford chevy smack talk between us but havent had an opportunity to really line em up n go....well last night we finally got the opportunity driving along and all of a sudden were on a long back road n he stops and i pulled up next to him seein what was up n he just starts boostin his a bit n i knew exactly what was goin on i started to boost a bit and he counted to 3 n we took off, off the line i started pullin away pretty hard from him and puttin a lil bit on him right around 75 tho he started catchin back up a lil but by that time the road was endin and we let off but i was pretty happy with my truck n he finally admitted my ford was nice haha

99 7.3, 6" stacks, 37x13.5 km2s, ev boost, trans temp and egt gauges, 6637 intake, tw tunes, cnc fab 4 line fuel feed kit, hpx, boost fooler, john woods valve body, triple disc billet tq conv, swamps idm, MB hoop, comp cams 910-16 valve springs .030 shims, smith brothers pushrods and PIS 250/200's, PMF stage 2 gusseted trac bars, 4" icon lift

Engine Mods: GTP38R WW2, 5 inch exhaust,T500, 6637, TW tunes,DI Up pipes, 6.7 fuel pump fuel system.
Trans Mods: 6.0 trans cooler, JW Valve body,Billet triple disc converter.
Sound Mods: 7" flip out tv, 3-way speakers all around, 12" sub, 500 watt amp.
Misc:dieselsite coolant filter, max ac assist, BRV, IHD,gauges, CCV

haha i no i was very pleased with my truck i didnt expect it to go that way but very glad it did

Yeah no kidding.... Gives me hope to bash on my buddies 06. Lol so are you checkin your mailbox as religously as I am.. Ordered the tw tunes while they were on sale to replace my bullydog.

haha yea i cant wait to get the tw my buddy had it on his and all i can say is wow the one i have now doesnt feel like it even adds that much power more so just changes the shift points around but the duramax is gettin a bullydog tune soon but i have confidence now even that wont help i once i get the tw haha

yea just has intake done i figured me turnin 35s and him runnin stock size would hurt me more than it did

A 7.3 with a programmer vs stock 05 duramax? Whats the stock Hp of that 05?? Im sure its still more than that 7.3 with that hypertec right? Im not sure jus doesnt sound right...
