I have scooped turds larger than their big muscle titans. But, I got dusted by a Titan or two in my old 99 7.3 that I had, not by a whole lot but a loss is a loss. I had the standard intake, exhaust, TS 6 position chip. Keep in mind most 7.3's with those type of mods are going to be in the 15's, fast as recent as a couple of years ago, but not really that fast anymore. Also the excursion isn't the lightest....it's like a Rosie O'Donnell vs Nicole Ritchie in the 100m. One guy says he ran consistent 14.9's in his truck, so I could see it beating a 7.3 with typical mods. It is intersting reading, but I say we just let them be...after all, you really don't enjoy the big bad Cummins guys gettin in here and dampening your day after you claim to dust one doooz ya? And Rosie is a VERY unattractive person. I can actually watch The View now instead of listen... Last edited by 99Smokin73Stroker : 06-25-2007 at 06:07 PM. |

Don't be too sure about that. Most chipped 7.3's will be in the 15's. Like I said, one guy claims a 14.9 and if that is just, most 7.3's will have to be "clicking on all cylinders" just to meet it. Titans come with 305 horse from the factory, so say 250ish to the ground, vs a chipped 7.3 putting 300-330 to the ground BUT likely 1500-2000lbs heavier....

I love to screw with Titan guys - especially the ones who actually think the thing is fast.
