OK, now i have a 2003 f-350 4door longbox with the 6.0, exhaust and banks 6gun are the only 2 mods i have, and about a week ago i pull from a light like normal, and a saturn ion stomps on it about halfway thru the light, i do the same and take off from him a bit but dont really pull away, hes still along side just not ahead. well i let it slide because i wasnt sure if it was a saturn redline or not. well tonight i go out to get dinner and i pull up to a stop light and a kid in a hyundai pulls up next to me and his buddy in a tundra behind him. well he asks me if i want some of the hyundai and i tell him sure if i can beat a saturn a hyundai should be suckin smoke, well the light turns green and he jumps out to a 2 car length lead and i cant pull on him he didnt really get anymore of a lead once the turbo kicked in but still and then his buddy in the tundra punches it and passes me moves infront of me and passes his buddy in the hyundai. now i hear all these stories about smoking this and blowing the doors off that.. how come i cant beat a freaking hyundai? is there a turbo accent? is my 6gun not working? or am i just screwed cuz im almost 10,000lbs?

Try boost launching and use 4by if you have it.

yea i've got 4x4, but this particular time i didnt get time to boost before the light turned, but even after the boost kicked in i couldnt catch him, he just stopped pulling on me... oh well i guess my trucks just not a race car

yup you have to learn how to launch with a lil boost... if your 4wd put it on 4wd high and launch at like 15-20psi.....also your six gun is not helping you at all.... get yourself a custom tuned SCT and youll be smoking the pants off of them

they will run you about 400 bucks lol..... but you need some gauges too

haha man that sucks. banks thats your problem... i bet if your truck was stock and you put it in 4wd and boosted it would have beaten both cars. get an sct . if you would have had an sct you would have blown the doors of both of them without a boosted launch

Once you get it, I think you will be much more happy. And you will def need some gauges. The options are endless though with the SCT. There are many great tuners out there for these trucks. They will be more than happy to fix you up.
