Killed A Buddy
A good friend of mine ended up beside me at a stop light last night. He wanted to race, so I said sure. He was driving an 03 F-150, stock vs stock, he was beside me when the light changed and that is when I saw him last. Was'nt even close, I blew him away! Same thing happened earlier in the day when some punk was driving what he thought was a Hot Rod Ranger! I do have a question though, when I take off , whats the best way to accelerate? Floor it or ease into it and let the Power build?

I vote STOMP IT!
Unless you're spinning tires.... Great kills too!

Goot kills! On you launch question...it all depends on how your launching. If your in 4wd, (assuming automatic) just power brake it until it's about to break loose...usually about 10-15 psi boost....then, when you launch...just stomp it to the floor. in 2wd...you'll prolly have to feather the peddle a little to keep the tires from spinning. The best way to get er done is to practice in a parking lot or industrial area LATE at night and find your sweet spot for launching.

Nice kills..
As far as how to launch.. that depends on what you are driving and how you plan to do things. If it's a 2wd.. you will problably have to be careful and feather the throttle to prevent hazing the right rear tire. If it's a 4wd, then things really get fun. Put it in 4Hi, (and if it's an auto) powerbrake up to around 1700 RPMs... then when the light changes.. stomp it to the floor. Just don't leave anything unrestrained on the dash, etc, as they will end up in your lap!!! |

LOL---Is that with the hubs in auto or lock?

either. It really doesn't matter. Your not going to cause too much stress to make 'em bind up if you lock 'em in...unless your going to be doing turns before/after the race and not disengage the transfer case. (I have to lock mine in b/c my vacuum hubs are busted!)
