Kill at the track - Grand Cherokee SRT8

I've wanted to race once of these and managed to get lined up with one at the street drags on Friday. I managed to tree him with a .200 reaction to his .655 and proceeded to run a 14.10 @ 94.98 to his 13.86 @ 99.88. I was quite happy considering I screwed up my revs per mile when I programmed my truck. I couldn't figure out why the shifts didn't feel right. Oh well, bottom line is still F350 1 - SRT8 0.

Later in the night I ran my current best of 14.02 @ 96.01 MPH.

um am I reading it right?

you said he ran a 13.8@99
and you ran a 14.1@95

Doesnt that mean he won the race?

Or did you run the 13.8?

VERY good run and great RT though!!

he won because he had a .455 advantage off the starting line, and he was only .24 slower, so he got to the finish line .215 seconds ahead.

I tree'd him so bad that I didn't see him except in the mirror.:burnout : Yeah, it is kind of weird to see the slower time win the race, but it's all about who can get off the line first when it's heads up racing.
