Think it can happen?
Me and my buddies are wanting to run down the "track" and see who is quicker
one has a 04 dodge 3500 4door long bed 2wd dually, 12v 5.9l diesel with an EDGE JUICE, straight piped. the other has a 04 6.0l f250 4 door 4wd lifted on 325's, he has a diablo tuner on 100hp setting and a hollowed out kitty with no muffler. You think i would stand a chance? with either of them? Thanks for you guys input |

if the 04 dodge is stock I would say your steepest completion is the 6.0. Ive raced a 02 dodge with a Juice and straight piped and it was SLOW i think it ran a high 16 in the 1/4.

yea, they are both automatics, thats the only thing i worry about. ive ridden in the 6.0 quite a few times and it feels fast, but i think i can keep up.
So you think the dodge would be slow? all the boy does is talk crap and blow smoke all over the place, it would be real nice to shut him up. |

That seems to be how dodge drivers like to drive
![]() The 02 I raced was a 24v and it may of been the driver but he started out running low 17s but go it down to 16.7 i think. Could of out ran it with my 7.3 pretty easy I think. I dont know about the diablo I dont know but if its like my Evo on 100hp it ran pretty good.... Nothing like my SCT But maybe good for high 14s I think... pure guess.

Are you sure the dodge is a 12V? They stopped putting 12V in mid 98. Unless he has swapped back to a 12v. I think you will do well

more than likely none of this will take place from a dead stop, so i wont have to worry about having a traction problem, probabally a 40mph roll. The 6.0 with the diablo usually runs his 80, things tend to go wrong when he runs the 100hp tune. If he is in the 80 hp, ya think i might can stick with either him or the dodge?
Some one with some first hand race experience versus a dudge cummins put some input in on this |

honestly, i dont know the difference. i thought the 12v were the quiet ones and the 24v obnoxiously loud. it may be the 24v then

any dodge guys input?
|

they do not make a edge for a 12v first off and if its a 04 unless he swaped its a commin rail 24v

and id say the ford will win only because he can boost launch it
