NEW CHEVY 1 TON Dmax

I was headed back to work offshore yesterday morning (my regular 400 mile trip). I was an hour into the trip and as I got off the country back roads onto the interstate ramp, there was this new Chevy 1 ton Dmax that I was approaching in front of me. I had a truck bed load of landscape timbers (probably 1500 lbs). He had an empty flat bed that looked kinda' thin. Well, he was about 100 yards from I-65 and stomped on it for no apparent reason (except for a PSD behind him with a truck load of timber)! Well, what was I supposed to do? I did the right thing and (of course I made sure no other vehicle was coming down the interstate first) and really caught the turbo and a downshift just right. Boy, my truck really came alive! He wasn't letting off and neither was I. I caught him and passed him and it looked as if he wanted to head into the triple digit numbers. As I came by him, I looked over at him. He looked at me and I could tell that he was peddling as fast as he could. I just kept on the throttle and he apparently let off when I was about 10 lengths ahead of him. I eventually slowed down to interstate speed but he continued to fade out of sight. Woo-hoo - that sure felt good!!!! I LOVE IT !!!!!!
