got me an eclipse

the other night i was cruise n down north ave, at like midnight, when a i pulled up next to a Mitsubishi eclipse with some punk and a fart can, i was going to let it go, but my girl was trashed and she wanted to race, so i start messing with him, i let him hit it first and i just walked around him like he wasn't even moving. the best part we pull up to the next light but before we get there it goes green, at this time he is right next to us and just before i go to accelerate (normally not racing). my girlfriend puts the window down and yells weak sauce. he just shook his head in embarrassment as he fell in behind me.

It could gave been a gst, and while quick when modded a tuned 6.0 shouldn't have a problem with one unless he had some decent bolt ons

90% of the 95-99 Eclipses on the road are powered by the Dodge Neon motor. Needless to say it's less than impressive. Even a lightly modded GST would run high 13's so while it's possible you could have beat one, judging by how hard you pulled away I'm guessing it was one of the lower model ones.

gsx is gen 1-2 eclipses with the evo moter 4g63 awd turboed.pretty effin nice.had one or two but only one or two

And if a frog had wings it would bump its @$$. I'm not trying to start a fight or anything. I'm just saying you could make a 6.4 nasty and it could smoke a corvette. With the way you can get power out of just about any motor, its hard telling what you are up against just by looking at the outside. Just saying
