Beemer driver is thinking twice

I was riding with a guy from work in his parents Explorer. He has a Beemer, one of the older models that was more boxy looking, and I think its a 500 series. He was talking about how much he likes to road race, and how he can beat everyone. Not being ****y just casual talk about racing and such. So I throw in there that id race him in a 1/4, he just laughed and said man your funny there's no way you would beat me. You drive that big ole tank. Id beat you in half that.

I told him it had a diesel in it and he just said it wouldnt matter it is way heavier and isnt as light an nimble as his. I told him about diesel trucks beating Mustangs and all kinds of cars, he just acted like those cars were no big deal.

So we get to the house and I offer to drive to get some food.

My friends son got in the car at this time and even laughed at the notion of him beating me.

So after we ate, I pulled out on the street and kissed the floorboard with the pedal. I looked over and his eyes were all big........LMAO. I had turned the tires loose pretty bad so I had to do it again and make sure it hooked up good. After that I told him I had a race tune that was faster than that. He acted surprised and said it can go faster than THAT?

I said yeah, you dont have to do much modification to make these engines scream. He didnt say anything after that..........
