kill then red light oops

well i was in my 95 OBS leaving school tonight after a party, had my GF and her friends with me. a red 24valve bout a 2000 model pulled out in front of me and blew smoke on us. girlfriend and her friends were all tellin me to smoke his @$$ so.. the road went straight and i turn my TW up a little and gave her some juice. smoked him no prob ( he seemed stock with maybe a chip) well then we started to come up on a red light. i mashed on the brakes harder and harder until the pedal was almost to the floor and wouldnt go down any more. well i ran the light

no one comming through the intersection thankfully. so i guess im goin to have to adjust my rear brakes in the morning. it felt like pulling a heavy load with no trailer brakes. the girls were a little freaked but they had fun. glad there wasnt a cop. just thought id share that with yall.

Guys running red lights is always awesome. Not to sound like a dyck, but if you can't safely bring the truck to a stop, you probably shouldn't be racing. That's exactly what happened to my '04 XL about 6 months ago. A couple of guys were racing, both blow the red light as I was going through the intersection. I got hit twice and the truck got totaled. And they were only driving little imports.

it took two imports though lol, nice kill but agree no racin on the street sounds like a good idea to me.

well its not like i knew the brakes were goin to fail. the last thing i would ever do is hurt someone. i see enough of that kinda stuff on the FD. got the brakes fixed up. the tab on the adjustment wheel was broken on one and the other was just way out of adjustment. so guess the front brakes couldnt bring the truck to a stop quickly. sad part was i just had the truck inspected three days before and passed the stop test.
