Z06 and Cobra

So my cousin was driving my truck this weekend, my knee's jacked so I make other people drive. ANYWAY. A couple of buddies of mine were driving with us, one drives an 03 Corvette Z06, and the other drives an 03 Mustang Cobra. First the guy in the Cobra pulled up next to us at a light, started reving and laughing. So i tell him its on, put the truck in 4 wheel for my cousin and tell him how to launch. Even I was shocked when my bone stock 7.3 beat his cobra off the line. Next light, guy in the Z06 wanted a turn, and my truck pulled on the vette too! Of course in the long run they both ended up passing us, all I have to say is I can't wait to start modding!!!!!

A good 4wd launch, especially if you spool up a little willl let you leave on a lot of vehicles. It's a lot of fun.. but you have to remember to be prepared for them to blow your doors off down the road if you don't have some good mods to help your top end.

Most likely they'll always get you on the top end. I could beat just about anything in my old 7.3 off the line.
