06 with Matt's SLR v. 10 Spartan 250

lined up with my buddys 6.4 single cab he only had his 250 tune on. He has the 310 but i told him just to leave it on 250 We did a boosted 4x4 launch, I did 2000 rpm. I exdpected for him to just leave me from the beginning. To my surprise we were dead even untill about 60-70 then he leaves pretty quick. He ended up only being about 1.5 truck lengths ahead on me at about 90 ish. Then we did a 25mph pull he let me start it. I was a good way ahead of him but same story he walked on me. I was still proud of my little 6.

sweet man i raced a 6.4 with a edge and smoked him pretty bad lol he thought he was pretty bad **** tho i stopped that for him lol i still love my 6.0 for all i have done to it.

I want to race him again with my new turbo, but he says since I upgraded my turbo he gets his 310 and I said naw ill stick with your 250 again

do a 250 race then when ya beat him let him go to the 310 i would love to ride in a 6.4 with the 310 tune to see what they can do.

let me tell you they are fast, I was amazed I thought about getting a lesser optioned 6.4 instead of my loaded 6.0. when I got it but they had just came out and I didnt like the dpf.. wish i would have got one now

I thought the same thing. Bought my 6.0 a few months after the 6.4 came out. I didnt like the styling, but now it has grown on me and I want one now. waiting on a test drive for a 6.7 before I decide which to buy.
