2500 HD kill

So we were in my buddy's 05 powerstroke that just got tuned like 20 minutes prior (THANKS IDP) with the extreme street tune, driving it was just like wow.

Anyways we come through this town looking for something to test it out on, and some kid in an 09 or 2010 2500HD with exhaust and an intake sticker decides he wants to play. We get to a red light, and i tell him dude kick it in 4hi and boost this baby and launch, well hes scared hes going to break something (33" tires no lift) and we take off in 2wd... spin all through first gear, second gear as well, and then something happened where it like missed a shift and he ended up letting off anyways ( i think i read with these tunes the tranny has a learning curve, and this was post-20 minutes tuned lol )

So hes pissed off now, catches up to him, the dude doesnt want anything to do with us now, some hot shot i guess, then after we pass him, he flies by at like 90 mph like a ricer. Pissed off even more we finally catch up, slow to a 45-50mph roll, three honks and it was on like donkey cong. Let off at 95 and was probably 3 or 4 truck lengths ahead of him.


Gasser kill, but those things we pretty quick, i still think if we would have boosted 4hi launch we would have destroyed him and he would have made the next exit. 6.0 gasser 2500HD with 360HP stock..4.10 gears etc.

dang you had me going tell i read the "gasser" part at the end.... nice kill though... tell your buddy that he'll learn how much to give it to get it started before he smashes it to the floor.... you gotta kinda ease into it at first...

it shifted funny cause it does need to learn when first installed. drive it around for at least 50 miles before beating on it. nice kill

If it were a DMAX (its not) then yes that would have been the other way around.. most people know the difference between an SCT tuned psd and another tuner.. well the EFIlive does that much and more for a Dmax....

one of my buddies had a ccsb 4x4 1500 hd with the 6.0 in it and we put a custom tuner in it and it was pretty rank

YES you can use EFI Live on a GM gas............... and yes it makes alot of diff. a 6.0 gas 2500hd will take a 6.0 with sct with custom tunes ive seen it done a little added timing alot less tq managment and you got a pretty peppy gasser
