I got killed

Howdy fellas. Well I whent to Fontana this past Saturday, and towed my buddies mustang. There were 500 cars entered so we both only got one run in, but my buddies turboed 5.0 ran a 12.11 at 115 coasting from 3-4th because he fried his clutch and blew the timing chain gasket, and bent the frame, still beat the 07 Z06 vette he raced. Then it was my turn. I picked an F150 lightning to race didn't think much of it, didn't look at the skinnys and slicks on it just wanted to race another truck. Well lined up had a sick burnout on both our parts and lined up. I was only going to launch it in 2x for the first race and see how I did to get a base. Lined up light turned green, had a crap .603 reaction time, and then proceded to burn the tires untill the 75 foot mark and ended at a 17.424 @ 87. It was embarassing. Man I wish we could have had a second run. Oh well maybe next time. I was only in street tune as well, but those mud-terrains didn't hook at all. It was still fun. By the way the lightning ran a 12.13 on his daily tune, didn't even have his performance tune loaded and he owns his own lightning performance shop. It was still fun. Y'all have a good one!
