93 to 95 N/A gt40 headed 351w E4OD made 245hp to the motor. slow
99 to 04 supercharged 5.4L 2v heads made like 380hp/450ftlbs to the motor. runs mid 13s stock.

There really is no top end, atleast in my 5.4 there is no top just a middle and bottom, it starts off way faster than my diesel but exhausts itself by 60 then shes done.

99-2000 had 360hp/440tq... then it got bumped up to 380hp/450tq... and some little quick info that I have found...

The Lightning can tear off a quarter-mile in 13.9 seconds at 100 mph (last year it was 14.6 at 97 mph). Its top speed is 142 mph

so from what I have seen alot of the stock Lightnings go any were from 13.6-14.6...

so I would have to say like every other vechile out there it would be hit and miss on how quick the vechile is... so with a 6.4L tuned just right I can see it bein done

I hope it was a stock Lightning and he couldn't drive, otherwise he's given the truck a bad rap. I've changed the pulley on mine to make a even 400 hp at the wheels and 500 tq. I will say it's never ran at the track faster than a 8.56 in the 1/8. The thing just spins on street tires too much to run a dragstrip. My 03 shifts out of 3rd to od at around 110. Those truck start hitting a brick wall though at that speed too. I've gotten the thing up to 140 ish once or twice. Bone stock, Ford certified them to 147. I just pretty much ran out of road and stupidity. To far to a hospital, and just a couple of hundred yards from the possibility of deer. Wins a win though so congrads. I may need to go for a ride in a newer diesel with a tuner. I like the 6.0 I have, but if the newer ones are that much better I may need to trade. I don't need a Lightning if I can get a diesel that's close.
