You should talk to the guys at Spartan yourself and let em know everything about it. The more they know, the better they can tune it.

haha yes I have, too bad I gotta pay off the truck first

Oh and to the OP, I beat my roomates 500+ horse 00 cummins in a race with just my 485 tune, with custom tunes youll have a completely different truck, I doubt the guys truck was making 700

You can P pump a 24 valve VP truck, its pretty common for guys that are wanting to make more serious power with their VP truck due to the VP pump having more limitations power wise. Its just easier to make the power with a p pump. Who knows what he is making for power, but with a spartan youll be near 600hp, youll definitely be doin better than you are now with the bully dog

as of right now these trucks are the fastest based on mod for mod, no other truck is almost making 600hp at the wheels with just an intake, exhaust and tune

Yeah maybe mod for mod. No one says. OH! I only have three things done, and you still beat me, but my trucks faster mod for mod... You would look like a Fuc*ing retard if you said that hahaha. a race is a race, doesnt matter if its 3 mods, or 30, And really, you can get a lot of power out of a 12 valve all from doing the mods yourself. without any tuner. Any diesel techs i have talked to said the 12 valve is the by far best diesel motor ever made..?

There is a reason you can make a lot of power on a 12v without a tuner, that would be becuase its all mechanical meaning you cant use a tuner of any kind on them, yes the 12v has proven to be pretty much the strongest engine out there, but your wrong if you dont think people are impressed by the fact that this engine makes so much power and is running very fast times with minimal mods, you can have a 12 second truck for 3 grand or so. Think you can do that in a 12v?

Go look on cummins forum, guys are all blown away by the fact that they are getting smoked by 6.4s, people are very impressed on the power you can make with minimal work done on the engine, you wouldnt look like a retard at all. I suggest you start doing some research and learning a thing or two about these engines, instead of just telling your dad you need something else to make your truck faster so you can win street races. Im the same age as you man. Dont give us younger guys a bad name
