Had it been a Dodge doing the same to a Ford, my response wouldn't have changed, I'm not into the whole "I hate your truck because it's not my truck" thing. I like 'em all.

I come on these sites to learn, as I'd venture to say most people do. I'd also say I know more about Cummins trucks than most people on here do, and when I see misinformation being spread, I correct it. If a 700rwhp Cummins gets outrun by a 320rwhp 'Stroker or DMax, the Cummins driver doesn't know how to drive, plain and simple. If a Cummins with 5X.014 injectors, Full Billt Goerend, 62/71/14 turbo and a huge fuel system gets outran by a lifted Ford with "gearing", someone was lying about mods, plain and simple.

You don't need me to "chill out." I'm pefectly calm, I asked a question and stated my opinion in my post, there wasn't the slightest bit of any emotion.

If you're referring to me as one of the Dodge folk who get emotional, you'd be wrong. I couldn't care less if a PowerStroke beat a Cummins, or if a Cummins beats a PowerStroke. Like I've said before, I'm here to learn about them. Did I bad mouth his truck? Did I talk up the Cummins? No, I stated my opinion, and asked him a question.

I realize this is powerstroke.org, but I don't see what that has to do with anything... I don't see why you think I'm hellbent on defending Dodge. If you didn't know, I drive a 1st Gen, AKA the red headed stepchild of Cummins trucks that no one wants to deal with. Hell, most Dodge guys don't think a 1st Gen can get over 400rwhp. I'm on no way shape or form "worried" about "Fords kicking some Cummins azz." In fact, maybe it will show ignorant Dodge owners that a 'Stoker isn't a piece of crap, and just because they have a Cummins doesn't mean they have a fast truck.

If you took the time and read my posts, you'd find I'm not the typical Dodge owner most people over here stereotype. Let me ask you something, if a Ford owner asked if he had an auto, would there be multiple quotes about it, saying he is whining? I'd say probably not. It's because I own a Dodge. Had this story been the other way around, and on a Dodge site nonetheless, I would say the same thing.

I suppose I should've said this in the first post though...

Congrats in the kill.
No Sir. I was not referring to you at all, just sharing what has been my experience. this is the fun topic forum, so lighten up
