7.3L vs 24V
Alright so I just got back from Iraq and I got my rig back.
![]() Anyways the entire deployment I have heard nothing from my friend but how his Dodge could do this, that and the other. He did nothing but talk smack on my "Powerjoke", as he calls it, and swore he'd destroy me. Well the time came the other day as we both pulled up to a stoplight next to each other. Neither of us prespooled for a launch so when the light turned green we just floored it. Both rigs grabbed without tire slippage. The race was first to the speedlimit (55mph) and not only did I win, but I blew smoke down his throat the whole way. Got him by about 2 lengths.My truck is lifted, geared, and tuned with a turboback exhaust and intake. his is leveled, geared, intake, exhaust, tuner and aftermarket holset turbo with injectors, aftermarket head.

i like the powerstroke .. but that 12 valve should have ate you up with the list of things you said it has ..
I would love to destroke my truck and drop a 12valve in it |

his truck dont have a tuner in it.... its a 12v.... its all manual, the harder you mash the pedal the faster it goes.

Correct me if i'm wrong but doesn't it say 7.3 vs 24 valve? Nope sorry the heading says 24 valve but the thread says 12 valve....sorry.

Um, if it was a 12v, it would have crushed you, bad.

A 24 Valve with those mods would have destroyed him as well.

I don't mean to be an azz, but that guy with the cummins, 12V. 24V or Common Rail evidently does not know the meaning of FLOOR IT. It is either that or he had an egg under the pedal and his wife told him if he broke it.................. she would whip his butt.

Unless its a '98.5-02 VP44 truck with a bad lift pump....thing was probably starving for fuel the whole time.....Worst Cummins motor ever.

the only cummins worth a schit is the CRD.... anything else is a loud obnoxious and weak POS....
