whats w/the chevy gassers?

a guy at work drives a 5.3 vortec 1500, the whole time im changin my engine hes tellin me, shouldn't have bought a ford go get a real truck. i told him my truck would kill his truck in every way comparable.....just as soon as i finished changin the engine... i tried to explain that had 2 whole litres more than him but he just wouldn't listen. finally, i got my engine in there and i raced him before i even put my font clip all the way in and without the hood on.....he wanted to race it that bad.....anyway, i killed him. bone stock. 3 times in a row. LOL funny thing is, he says he wants to race me again when i get the hood and everything on cuz he thinks he can beat me then....hmmmmm, i told him i would give him another shot. lol. its not really a kill, cuz im pretty sure hes bone stock as well but nevertheless, he was beggin for it.
