3rd gen cummins goes down

Hey all this is my 1st post here. I was headed back to kansas with my new tranny installed and built by jon faubion in OKC area cruise set at 85 passin alot of people when all of a sudden i notice a new dodge i passed pacing me driver grinning ear to ear. He hammered down and pulled 1/2- 1 truck length on me, then the turbo lit and we were off. He and his buddy had a huge grin on their faces to start out the race and by the time i pulled back even with them they had wtf looks . Did i mention i picked on one that had some sort of box on it? He had plenty of smoke but it was all show and no go . I pulled about 6-7 lengths on him and shut it down, he caught up with me and was a good sport both driver and his buddy gave me thumbs up. Also i picked on another one after i dropped a cyl, it was a 3rd gen with no smoke i beat him but not very badly since i was gimping on 7 cyl. Thought i just dropped inj, but turns out i had 2 bent pushrods in cyl4. Also bent connecting rod, rocker arms and broke the lifters. Full rebuild in progress

thats gotta suck. i mean the broken parts. did you do all that while playin or after. playins great aint it?

well im pretty sure it broke during or right after playing with the modded 3rd gen, but i dunno for sure. Yeah it sucks but now ive got bigger and better plans for the engine:burnout

i always worry that a ton of mods are goin to f things up...but hey...you beat a cummins...no shame in that
