On a VP? or eliminate the timing on Smarty and let the comp handle it... 6 or 1/2 dozen. I think we are saying the same thing. I just don't see the gain from the Smarty if running a comp. I could be wrong

You can stack a comp on a smarty but keep the smarty on even numbers otherwise its too much timing, this is on a VP truck

The benefit would be on a CR truck you can run the COMP to boost timing then the SMARTY to boost Rail Pressure and Duration. And the SMARTY will control BOOST fooling where the EDGE does not...or if it is a later model EDGE...does not efficiently. Guys were having issues with the EDGE boost fooling stopping at 38...which is nothing for a stacked CR.

So we are talking about a '97 that somehow has a chip, is smarty capable and now might have an HPCR retrofit and you are telling me about the difference between the CR and 98.5-02s
