Older style Blazer
I was leaving from the UFC fight saturday night with a few buddies and my buddy got next to me in his Blazer. I can't recall the year off the top of my head, but it's somewhere in the 70s or 80s. It's sweet with 35s and a 6 inch lift, rebuilt trans and rebuilt 350 and everything else from the bare frame. He is also running 4.10s.
So pulled up at a red light and should of power braked but didn't b/c I was talking to him. I hit it and he hit it. Next thing I know I'm boosting up and hit 2nd, then 3rd gear and had him by a couple of lengths then I let off. It was was fun. Surprised at how quick he got off the line though. |

yeah those old blazers usually came with 350s or 305s. some people swap 454s in them. There are a few thatwere diesel. I forgot the size but i think they were non turbo diesels. they werent fast by any means. My boss has a 86 suburban with a diesel. has a ton of miles but it still runs.
