Dually vs. Mustang GT

Ok, so I was going home last night after work, and was running beside a 2003 or so mustang gt. It had frolly 18s that were all nice and shiny, ground effects body kit with the duels molded into the rear of the kit. Sounded pretty good. Cowel hood, looked like a pretty nice car. I figured he prolly had a little done under the hood. So, I finally got past another car and we were at a stop light side by side. Now, of course I was in the fast lane, so the little piece of pipe that comes out the back was facing the pretty blue pony. Well, the light went green, and we both got on it. I guess he thought he might have a chance at first, tell the turbo spooled :nono: . Well, the big black dually took off and left him in a cloud of black smoke. I let out at about 75, seeing how I was running out of road. The stange made a quick last minute turn off on to another road, guess he did not want to go best out of three Oh well, it was pretty fun to say the least. I had to keep on beating a horse, or mustange, but those guys will never learn

Nice man, very nice, that kinda gives me more confidence that I am gonna win come this spring/summer when I race my co-worker in his completely stock 06 mustang.

Yeah, the new 06 GTs are a little different monster, I belive they are 350 hp stock, I have even heard the V-6s are pretty quik for a 6 banger. But, good luck with it Scott. Go beat some dead horses buddy

the new GTs are quick but not that much h/p. the 05-07 GTs have 300 at the fly. the 99-04GTs have 260 at the fly

Oh, ok. I was thinking they were higher, guess I was wrong. But I have heard they were still pretty fast.

I like that story. I dont get offended by getting beat by a fast car, but when I beat one of them its sweet.

I think as long as I am in the left lane during my race I will give the guy a big cloud of black smoke so he can't see the christmas tree lights and by the time the smoke clears I will be hitting the 1/8 mile marker on the track. But that is a confidence boost logan.
