Killed my first Cummins

Ok yall, I was taking my sick self home from work this afternoon. When I come up behind a Dodge truck with a Cummins in it. I could tell just by looking at the huge aftermarket exhaust. So I said to my sick self lets feel a little better by killing this truck. Well the oppurtunity opened up and I hit the throttle and flew by him. He didn't budge at first I was like awe he don't want to play. Well we came up to a stop sign. I decided to flip the ts 6 pos over to extreme, When it was my turn to go I took off leaving him in a cloud of black smoke. I slowed down, I must of pissed him off cause he came charging after me like a mad ram. So I gun it again, leaving him again in a cloud of black smoke. Then my egt's were starting to push over 1,200 so I backed off, the guy came up on me. So I slammed the throttle all the way home staying in front of him. But again my egt's raised up pushing the 1,200 mark. So I backed off it and pulled in my driveway let my truck cool down as I went to get the mail. Needless to say I killed the Cummins but I learned I need an exhaust to keep those egt's down so I can stay on it longer. Boy now I can't wait for my tax return to come so I can get that exhaust.

Yeah it made me feel better to a point. Not well enough to go finish this dang sable that I am about 5 days late on getting fixed. But tomorrow is my day off from work so I will go out there and get it done tomorrow afternoon while the sun is up and hopefully that will make it a bit warmer in my shopp even with the heater going these past couple days it has been nippy out there in my shop.
