Camping/rving Coal Rollers?

How many KCR members go camping/rving? Maybe we can schedule some trips together? I tow a 5th wheel and are always looking for new places to go.

We do, however we have not been to many places. We always go to the All Ford Nationals at Carlisle. We are looking to take our kids to Steamtown and Strasburg this year and do some more camping. We live in central Pa. Maybe we could meet up somewhere this year!

Nice to hear we have at least one other camper in the group. Mike that is a very nice looking truck. We've been wanting to go to Strasburg, maybe we can make a weekend out of it?

That is a beautiful truck. I go camping down at Raystown Lake with my girlfriend and her family but I dont have a camper or anything like that. I do enjoy it though.

I don't have a trailer but it would be cool to all get together somewhere and camp out.

We are taking ours out for state inspection this morning, along with the refrigerator recall. Hope to have it back withtin a week or two. The dealer is a little backed up right now, but they are a small family business that is great to deal with.

Strasburg sounds great! I have been there many times over the years with my grandparents. We may want to avoid the weekends when Thomas the Tank Engine is there. We took the kids to that one time & that place was super crowded.

Let us know when you can make it. We will have to look for a campground close by. Here are a couple:

Florys Cottages & Campground

The Loose Caboose Campground

Lancaster PA Dutch Country Camping & Vacations at Mill Bridge Village

Roamers Retreat Campground, Kinzers, Lancaster PA, Amish Country Campgrounds & Cottages

White Oak Campground Home Page

SilverDcab have you ever stayed at any of these?
Nice to see someone from the Garage Club Forum over here!

I have been through Roamers Retreat campground, there isnt really anything there except a grass lot with pull through sites and a few sites inn the wooded area. There is nothing to do there, no pool, playground etc. That was why we never went there.

White Oak I havent been to for 11 years. I never camped there but I went there and towed a friends Fifth wheel home for him when his truck had problems.

I was never in the other campgrounds you mentioned. I have been by the Loose Caboose it looks on the small side to get in.

There is a campground going west on rt. 30 I will go by tuesday and post the name. That one looks pretty nice, sorry cant give you any more feedback on the others you mentioned.
