PA Chapter Nominee's

Ok this is the last step we need to take before we present our chapter to the ORG for final approval.

We need to nominate a Director, a Co Director and 2 historians. Since our state is rather long it would be a good idea if the Director and Co Director were from opposite sides of the state. Likewise with the 2 historians. That way we can cover our state better with Meets and GTG's. Here are the Chapter rules:

Powerstroke.org Chapter Rules

A chapter may be formed by any group of five (5) Powerstroke.org members who have some kind of common geographical connection.

All chapters will have a logo. All logos will include “Powerstroke.org” in their design.

The requirements for being a member of a chapter are the following:

Be a member of Powerstroke.org in good standing.
Display the Chapter Logo on your vehicle.

Chapters will be required to plan and organize one get together per year. Attendance is optional. There will be no minimum requirements on attendance levels.

Chapters will at their onset, and then whenever they feel the need to, elect a Chapter Director, a Chapter Vice Director, and a Chapter Historian. These positions will hold no authority, but those holding them will serve as coordinators for any chapter event. These positions will be open to any chapter member with the exception of Powerstroke.org Staff.

Chapter formation will occur at such time as a group has organized, and presented a list of members and a logo design to the Powerstroke.org staff, and said logo design is approved.

These chapters are a function of Powerstroke.org. As such, they may not function outside of Powerstroke.org CoC. Also, the Powerstroke.org staff reserves the right to make changes at any time to facilitate operation of these chapters.

So who would like to nominate ones for certain positions and who wants to make themselves available for nomination?

i dont know anyone well enough to comfortably nominate them, but smkstax was the one who really got this chapter rollin so ill 2nd the nomination for him

we could nominate for chapter director and whomever gets that position could appoint the co-director and chapter historian, people could just apply for the positions...... might sound like a stupid suggestion but I've been an officer with a fire department for quite a few years and that type of officer delegation seems to work very well. SMKSTAX you got my vote for Director.

Well in about 3 or 4 weeks my pizza shop will (should) be open in cranberry township. Your all welcome to meet there any time. Plenty of parking, good pizza, and there's a Houlihanns across the parking lot for beer.
