First major bill

The 08 had a spot underneath it. I took to dealer last week for service. They saw staining from a leak but it wasnt leaking. So while it was there they backed into something and put dent in bumper. Yesterday it went back for body shop to install new bumper. This time they saw it leaking. They confirmed the radiator is leaking and another part related needs replaced. It has almost 70k on the ticker. It's not covered under powertrain warranty.
Looking at $1,480.00 to fix it So its not a good week for me right now.

They just want to recoup there losses from having to replace your bumper. Fight them on it.

So I called Ford Customer care. They took my info and a case worker got back to me. The radiator is a known issue. However it isnt covered under warranty. Ford called my dealer and since I am a excellent customer who keeps the truck serviced by them. They knocked 50% off my bill. That is a huge help for me. I agree it should be covered by ford 100%. However I'm happy with that verses no help at all.
