Hey, Somerset, I'm from near Lexington. I come down there on occasion. One of my hobbies is keeping native fish in a couple of tanks. A lot more interesting than tropical fish, as you have to go out and find them. If you ever see a brown F350 with crew cab and dually rear, and a bunch of paint buckets and nets in the back, that's me. Buck Creek has some pretty fish, so I'm down there every so often. You know anyone who owns land that comes up on the creeks in that area? I'm always looking for better places to go netting or seining. Biggest problem finding native fish is getting into the creeks, most of them are on private land, and the landowner might be as bad as I am about people prowling around my farm... |
