Hey guys Im headed towards the Hays, Larned area for a few days of bird hunting the week after christmas. what kind of weather should I expect? any of you guys been seeing many birds?

Hard to say what kind of weather to expect, Kansas is always changing.

Were supposed to have a colder than average winter with less snow than average, but who knows if thats gonna hold true.

Plan for cold, but in indiana you're used to that, and be prepared for snow just in case. The weather in western KS is a lot more Colorado-ish than the rest of Kansas.

It gets windy out that way too, so it may be 20 deg but the windchill may be below 0 with 20-30mph winds...
