Public hunting land

Hey guys, planning a trip down there in Nov for pheasant/quail hunting. Looking at going around the Hays area and wondering what there is for public hunting land in that area.

Ulysses area has a ton. We go there every year. During this time of year about every place in the area has a map of public land.

if you are serious about coming down here let me know, i'd take a few days off and show you around, me and a buddy of mine used to guide some pheasant hunting trips when i was in hs, im sure we could probly show you around to some spots in northwest kansas n kill a few birds

hey guys I am also planning a trip out that way either the week before or the week after xmas, i am looking to either the hays or larned KS areas. is there any links or places a person might go to find public ground? id like to get into some quail and phez both.... any suggestions? ill have my dogs.
