Hello everyone

I'm new to the forum and to diesel trucks. All though I've spent way to many hours on tractors and combines. Fire370 I'm in your neck of the woods. I live in El Dorado and work in Wichita. I grew up in Belle Plaine.

Long MacArthur is a great place, most folks around here go there or out to Lubbers in Cheney. I have done business with both Rusty Eck and Mel hamblton and am not impressed by any means. In fact, Hamblton sponsored our truck show one year and REALLY dropped the ball, we were told they would do all the advertising and radio spots but of course they didn't and our attendance showed it, we had 58 trucks there and only a handfull of people came to see and most of them were looking at new cars and just came by while they were there, made a few of our vendors very upset. Sooooo, I don't buy cars round here lol, we go out to lubbers, when we bought the wife's sploder (used) within about 3 mo. the tranny went south, it was covered under thier little warranty thing and they gave us the option to have them replace the tranny or they found another truck like hers with fewer miles and more options that they would replace it with!! been sold on them ever since.
