Help think its a head gasket

i have a 2004 f250 6.0. i know i know save the ribbing. my question is i have a coolant leak on the passenger side back of the motor . i cant pinpoint exactly where its coming from but looks like head gasket. it is definatly leaking pretty good. i am loseing coolant obviously. i dont uaslly make long trips. short trips . i havent noticed the ect going over 185*-190*. Can anybody help me out. any ideas

Not sure if you have an EGR delete or not, but either way, check the hose coming from the EGR cooler or the re-route hose from your EGR delete. It's in that same area you're talking about. My re-route hose has leaked a few times.

holy sh@t ! u mean finally some good news . i hate to ask any body know where i can get a diagram.i been working on cars along time and im not to bad , but these diesels... i dont have a dam clue!

I wouldn't consider it "good news" just yet. Just "possibly" goo news. I don't have a diagram, but the hose in question is passenger side, on top of the engine. You should be able to see/feel it if you're over the top on that side. Should be either blue or orange in color..

with work and the weather i have not had a chance to look at it. hope today to get a chance to check it out , thanks for the help so far.
