what shop do you use ?

whats up guys i am getting ready to do an egr delete and oil cooler but i have no idea where to bring my truck in n.j are there any good diesel performance shops in n.j or am I better off traveling to p.a ? i was up in carlise for the truck nationals this weekend and liberator performance was there he said he could do my truck in one day for $1200 all parts and labor do u think that is a good price? any help would be appreciated thanks

That does seem like a decent price. The EGR delete kit is anywhere from $200-$350, and the oil cooler rebuild kit is another $200. So that means he's charging $650-$800 in labor. It just took me all weekend to do the exact same job, and $800 would not be enough for what I just went through. If you want to shop around, try these guys: harrickih.com.

I wish i had the time and patience to do the job myself , but those are two things I just don't have lol . I figured that was a good price its just having to take the 2.5 hr ride out there to get it done.

If you've got the cash, the drive is worth it! It's such a colossal PITA to get to everything, kneeling on top of the engine, etc.

I am a pretty big guy so climbing around the motor is not to fun i will probaly go up there and get it done i was gonna get it done sone but i ended up buying exhaust at carlise it was such a good deal i couldn't pass it up i got a 4' mbrp turbo back no cat black series for $470 just have to wait for them to ship it said 2 weeks cause it comes from canada

1200 for parts and labor on a new cooler/egr delete isn't a bad price, make sure that includes a thorough flush.

yes i would still like to get this stuff done but i have to wait a little i had some unexpected things come up . so i need to save up some cash for it . I would still like to get a price so I no what I am looking at. i want to do the egr delete, oil cooler , oil cooler lines etc maybe the blue spring fuel mod to. where is the shop or guy located? thanks
