Welcome to the .ORG! I think you'll be happy with a King Ranch. They're sweet trucks.

Thanks, I am really happy with it so far. I have been doing a ton of research and reading on this site and various other sites. I already have a wish list for the mods I would like to do . I do have a quick question. The truck only has 48,000 on it and the head gaskets were replaced about 10,000 miles ago. They didn't install studs when they replaced them. I don't plan on installing a chip or anything crazy so should I just wait until I have problems with them in the future or would you still opt to have the studs installed sooner than later? Thanks a lot

In your case, I'd just drive it and be happy. If the gaskets go, hopefully while still under warranty, have the dealership stud them for you if you can. You might not have a bit of trouble with it.

My race team. I have a '79 Malibu with an F-1 Procharged, air-to-water intercooled, Steve Morris 377 SBC. 1,000 horses. She's gone 9.20s. She's now set up to run 8.80s. Think an F-450 is overkill to pull a 7k trailer?
