bought my first REAL truck the other day.....
Went into my local Ford dealer 2 Mondays ago looking for a light bulb for my 06 F150 and left with an 06 F350 Lariat, CC FX4 with 20k miles on it.... After spending a few days in the dog house (my wife has finally calmed down) I had the bed liner sprayed, leveling kit installed and a new set of 33x13 mud terrains on amp wheels thrown on, as well as updated the audio. Now it's time for the engine mods.... The truck will be used as a daily driver as well as pulling a small 2 horse trailer to horse shows once a month.
For mods I plan on, 4" exhaust, air intake and programmer. This site is fantastic for info. Keep up the good work. As for exhausts, does anyone have any experience with AFE's turbo back system? I am also open to recommendations on other systems as well. It seems as though most on the site prefer the MBRP. Alluminized or Stainless? ( i live about 45 miles north east of seattle, wa) For Air intake, I am open to suggestions there as well. On the programmer side, I am thinking of the SCT Anyone out there from Washington State, Seattle area north? Looking for a good place up here where I can get some work done on my new toy. Looking forward to chatting with you- |

I have often found and seem to live by the motto that:
IT IS EASIER TO ASK FOR FORGIVENESS THAN FOR PERMISSION!!!! At least you already have what you want...LOL |

I'm kinda wonderen, did you by some strange coincidence--- spend any time on this forum before you went to get the alleged light bulb? Or perhaps, get into a little light to light action with something really large and heavy with a blue oval on the front of it?, perhaps something rather loud with a bit of a rattle? Something you may have thought had easy pickin's written all over it?
Hahaha Welcome to the Forum, you'll have fun here, and even learn stuff, if you set your mind to it. Gord. |
