Hi everyone at Powerstroke.Org. My name is Allan. I have been reading these forums for quite some time now adn just decided to introduce myself. I got a lot of questions about PDS. Have owned my 2004 for about 3yrs been a slow build. I won't bombard the site with questions right away lol. But one is what is a wastgate? Read a lot about it but not really sure what it is. I know it has something to do with your turbo.

welcome to the org. the wastegate dumps boost out the exhaust to prevent overboosting the engine. alot of people install a boost fooler to prevent this.
