hi everyone, I've actually been posting on the site for a week or so now. just got around to introducing myself. sorry, but I was so interested in reading all the posts and the info available on this site I kinda forgot the introduction. anyway, I live in east central PA on a farm where my wife and I grow about 25 acres of sweet corn & pumpkins. we own a '97 F 350 7.3 5 speed which we bought new and also the black lifted '07 6.0 that is pictured on this site. it's great to be a member on a site with so many knowledgeable people. lots of wonderful people, good

Do you pick corn by hand? I worked for a well know sweet corn and produce farm all thru school We hand picked everything. To this day I dont think i have finger prints.

yes all by hand. thought about buying a picker, but $$$$$ and then they only work the way their supposed to on certain varieties plus they pick everything and the corn then needs to be sorted for pickout (bad) ears. I don't mind picking corn. pumpkins are worse, more bending and harder on the back.

thanks for the welcomes everyone. I'm just learning how to put pics with my posts. I did set up a photobucket account and loaded pics on there and did manage to get some on one of my posts on here, but they were smaller than when I put them on as an attachment. problem is I need to reduce the size of the pics when I load them onto alot of websites or they won't load.

what I'm doing wrong. I did go back to the phototbucket pics and tried to increase the size of the ones already loaded, but it wouldn't let me. let me try this.

this pic is from my gallery on this site, but again it appears that it is going to be small .
