New owner from KY

Hi everybody,

I just bought a 00 f250 psd crew cab lariat 4x4 about a week ago, and I did alot of searching around on here before i bought it and so far ive learned alot of stuff on here because im an import performance tech so diesels are a whole new ball game for me, but i love it even though its running like total beepbeepbeepbeep right now I cant wait to get everything lined out, because this is my dd and tow vehicle once i get my race car done.

So far the truck is bone stock other than a airraid intake and the zoodad mod but once i get everything running correctly im going to get egt, boost, and trans temp gauges and a 4"mbrp exhaust, and i dont know what tuner im going to go with yet the truck came with the banks sixgun tuner but it throws and emmediate error3 when it turned on so i removed it. And the seller is giving me his power pup tuner that he never got to put on the truck so i might give it a try once i get the gauges and everything since its free

But id like to thank everybody ahead of time for all the good info and no beepbeepbeepbeep talking on this forum as opposed to most of the forums im on which is the way it should be just good info and good people to answer questions or give info about products they have tried etc.

thanks everybody and ive allready asked some odd questions that nobody can or seems to want to help me out, ive been searching for days and cant seem to find and info that helps me out with my problems.

Welcome!!! Hopefully somebody a bit smarter than me will be able to help you out with your problems.... We have quite a few techs on this site, just a matter of getting their attention with your post. Any ideas to get him sped along fellas???

Hey Slow, post in the 911 section of the forum and the techs will probably notice it there. Big thing with these mtrs is macking sure the fluids and filters are takin care off, makes a big differance, pull the tuner and return it to stock and see if it still runs lousy, if so it may be the injecters. I'm no tech, so just what I would start with. One of the guys who knows his stuff will come along and help, sometimes it just takes a bit for them to notice.---good luck. Gord.
