WNC new guy
What's up folks. Picking up my 2000 up tomorrow. Someone elses misfortune is my gain. Been wanting a Powerstroke for some time now, just never could really afford it. Here in the mtns of NC, before the recession/depression, these trucks were priced like they were made of gold. Could not pick up a used one for less than 20k,no matter year or how many miles. The truck is a repo. It has no owners manual, it also has 3 toggles in the cab. One is for a fan and the other two are yet to be determined. Looking to chip it right away and from reading on here it looks like Wildmans is the way to go. Go figure I was about to buy the Bullydog thinking that that way the best there was. It already has a MBRP 5" exhaust on it. Needs a new drivers side mirror. Know where I can get one on the cheap? Other than that the truck is a Lariat with about 130k on the clock. Leather looks pretty good but the carpet is not great. Looking to buy some kinda insert (mud catcher), which is the best way to go? The tires or mismatched and I cant stand that so tomorrow I will have the bed sprayed and find new tires for it. I have a bunch of ?'s and will try to find the answers somewhere on here, with 46,000 members I am sure all my ?s have been asked before.
