New but old
Hello my name is Jeff and first off i just want to say thanks to everyone that is on this form. I have used it a lot and it has been very helpful for me! Just now i have a problem that I can’t search and see everyone’s opinions so hers my first cry for help. Thanks again everyone!!!
Ok so i have A early 99 with 110K, bully dog chip, 4in turbo back and my trans is giving me problems i think. When im going down the interstate "70mph" and put the cruse on she starts to jerk when going up and down hills. But... when i have the cruse off its fine??? Also if i am going down two lane "55mph" nothing. Any ideas? 110k Also when I’m taking off seems like there’s a point at which if I back off the throttle it creates more power but when i increase it falls in power. The guy at the performance place seems to think its blowing off boost to soon. I ordered one of those banks big head actuators. I wanted it anyways so i hope that fixes the power problem. Any ideas anyone? Thanks Jeff Moschino

I dont know for sure but I am going to throw out there that the HPOP may be falling on its face for the lack power.
As for the problem with the cruise, I have heard that some chips and tuners dont react well with cruise and will jerk when the cruise is turned on. I dont know what chips and why so dont bet money on that. It was he said she said!

the HPOP could do that thought they were gear driven? or is it gust getting worn out? how hard are they to replace an how much?

oh yeah when i take the chip out the problem goes away i thought it was the chip at first to but the guy at the performance shop said that once u put more HP to them it will uncover problems today im going to do the DIY intake and to boost fooler

welcome to the org. not sure on your problem, but if it goes away when you take it out, then it sounds like your chip.
