new guy from Wisconsin
Hey guys!
Well let me tell you a little about myself. I am currently a senior in HS and going on to college to get ASE certified in both gas and diesel cars/trucks. I am still driving my first truck which is a 2001 Chevy S10 2.2 with 6" lift and 31" tires. yeah i know i was 16 ![]() So i have been looking around and love the look of the powerstroke trucks and have liked diesels for as long as i can remeber. Just a few questions. Since i live here in WI how do these trucks handle the cold? Any great differences between the 7.3 and 6.0 ![]() thanks guys! NC |

![]() ![]() ![]() Diesels do not like cold as a general rule but they are equipt with block heaters and pretty robust glow plugs and can handle the cold startups ok. As far as differences between the 7.3 and the 6.0..it depends who you ask but you really won't go wrong with eather - they both have there pros and cons. |
