New from Michigan

Hey guys Im in Arizona right now and just bought a 1999 F350 Crew Cab Long bed 7.3L PSD w/ 128000 miles. The truck is super clean! 4" of lift on 35s. Got it for 11,000. Hope to learn alot of you guys on here.

1st question I got to ask is when i drive the battery light come on then goes off sometimes? any ideas why? It also seem as if when getting off the gas the engine shuts down but the RPMS are still up? Nothing big to me seems to still run REALLY good!

thanks guys. Is the 99 with the forged rods right? Good thing and Why? What chip should i get?

Alternator maybe going bad.

The other problem needs to be scanned and some tests need to be done. Where in Michigan are you. I maybe able to help you out if your close enough to me.
