Hey everyone, my name is scott and i currently do not have a diesel but finally got into the market of buying my first one. My current rides are 02 F-150, 99 trans am, and a 00 cr 125 dirtbike.. I am from the pittsburgh area and looking for some info on trucks to make my first diesel purchase in spring. Looking to learn, thanks

the common fixes for the 6ohs are like the egr delete kit, studs for the heads,.. i think theres more but thats on the top of my mind at the moment. theres a lot of 6ohs owners here to help ya.

welcome. the 6.0's arent as bad as the horror stories you heard. i owned 2 of them and never had any major problems. if you treat it right, it will treat you right. sometimes theres a bad apple in the bunch tho but that goes for every vehicle.
