New From SC with First PSD but already problems....

Hey,
i joined the forum not long ago after talking with a guy thats on here. I've always drove diesels but my first Powerstoke is proving to be a hassle. My '04 F250 has roughly 145,000 miles on it and since I bought it I put a K&N Air filter, 4 in. turbo back exhaust, and an SCT tuner. Not long after getting everything done my brother and his friends challenged me to some races against their honda ricers. Of course I couldn't back and did beat everyone of his friends at the track I also melted my low range clutch pack so said my transmission guy. After getting that fixed I didn't see any other issues out of it for about 3 months when it started having a delay shifting into gear. My transmission guy said my pca solenoid was bad and my overdrive solenoid was sticking on. He replaced both solenoids and the truck seems to do fine now but everytime I put my SCT tune back in the truck it messes up again. When I put the truck in gear it just shuts off and I have to floor it to get it moving which I thought was the overdrive solenoid but I've already replaced it. Any help as to what to do next would be greatly appreciated. And would my SCT tuner be causing the transmission to mess up? Thanks!

Are you using SCT's canned tunes, or do you have custom tunes from someone. Most custom tunes have transmission tuning as well, and rarely are there transmission problems with them.

ya mudrunninpig i'm the guy you talked to the other day but I couldn't figure out exactly how to join the carolina powerstroke group. and as far as the sct tuner I got one of the unlocked ones but I don't think it's been custom tuned by anyone. I've had it out all day today and I haven't had any problems out of the transmission.
