Bought my first PSD

Well for the last 7 years of my Military Career I have been a Jeep guy, with the exception of a 2500 I had a few years back to pull an RV for a summer... so I bought an 08 Wrangler early Jan 08... and I have been fairly disappointed with the Jeep now they screwed up the engine... so I wanted to get a truck... and I found an 04 F-250 FX4 at a Jeep dealer. So now it's in the garage. Already added Power Service products Diesel Fuel Supplement +Cetane Boost and plan to use the same manufactures summer product later this year. Anyone got some advice on ownership of 6.0L PSD's?

welcome. the 04 was a better year than the 03 as far as changes to the 6.0 i heard. i owned 2 6.0's and 2 7.3's and never had a major problem with any of them besides a trans in the 7.3 and a turbo in the 6.0

Thanks for the welcome, as for Stock... don't think so I never kept anything I own stock. I was looking into the Bully Dog and Edge programmers... not sure as I have seen mixed reviews on those. But anything to improve performance. However my super off roading days are past I think, want to avoid lifting and anything bigger than 33" at this point. Want to squeeze the juice out of this thing though.

Nice pick on the truck... and now you can still afford a real jeep (cj) and build it however you want it! That is before you start dumping every penny into you truck like we all do! (for adding power of course NOT repairing) Oh ya and SCT is the way to go with custom tunes!

03 F250 SC SB, 7.3, Lariat, MBRP Duals w/ muf delete, Foil Delete, CCV Mod, DIY Intake, Edge Juice w/ Attitude (for sale)... Alpine Touchcreen DVD.
